MISSION:  

To bring generations together in a performance atmosphere in order to create a venue for mature, seasoned dancers so that they can:

·         Reconstruct original choreography from Broadway & Movie Musicals

·         Choreograph new Musical Theatre works

·         Recreate selected Musical Theatre routines in the style of the original concept

·         Teach

·         Perform

Our goal is to inspire, motivate & encourage young professionals interested in Musical Theatre through:

·         Mentoring programs that offer opportunities to work closely with seasoned professionals

·         Master Classes

·         Workshops

·         Seminars

·         Performances

·         Choreography

The mature performer passes on his or her knowledge & expertise.  The novice performer applies this training to his or her Musical Theatre career.

Original choreography has been lost once a production closes, never to be seen again.  Phenomenal choreography has been created solely for film that we would like to bring back to life.   Wonderful works of art are transformed for the stage…and performed by NYC’s Dance Makers!

We want to:

·         Promote, perpetuate, disseminate and explore the history of our extremely rich Musical Theatre Choreography

·         Create new choreography based on our past mentors’ teachings & styles

·         Stimulate public interest in America’s Classic Musical Theatre Dance History through teaching, workshops and performances

·         Inspire & educate young hopefuls and Musical Theatre professionals

·         Provide rehearsal space for the re-creation of choreography, as well as the creation of

New choreography

·         Produce public and private performances

·         Employ and pay compensation to Directors, Choreographers, Teachers, Dancers, managers, accountants, musical accompanists, and other business personnel as may be necessary in carrying out our mission
